Around The World
Our mission is to nurture and support emerging artists through a distinctive artist residency program. The residency program provides a platform for artists to not only create new works but also forge meaningful connections with local and regional artists, curators in South Korea, and an international residency participants.
Oreum Residency offers high-quality residential living spaces and studio areas to a total of 10
emerging artists and creatives per edition. The program is open to artists based in South Korea
and international artists. There are no age restrictions. The main communication language is English.
This residency is a collaborative project facilitated by Cedar Hill, a residential space in Jeju, and co-organized by DiSilence, a creative agency in Atlanta, USA, and Zip Amsterdam, a cultural non-profit foundation in the Netherlands. We offer artists the chance to showcase their work to an audience of visitors and buyers, fostering personal connections and professional opportunities.
We are located at a beautiful townhome village in Seogwipo City in Jeju Island, where you can feel the sea breeze from Seogwipo Bay up front with the Halla Mountain at the back.
Here, artists will be able to showcase their artwork and transform an entire home, from the front yard to the interiors, into a gallery.
